Eden’s Skywire, the UK’s Longest Zipwire

The Eden Project is a world-renowned garden attraction, partly housed in Tropical an Mediterranean biomes. JGP has a long-standing working relationship with The Eden Project, which dates back to 1997 when the Eden Project was conceived.  Our most recent involvement at Eden has been the provision of geotechnical services in the construction of their new Skywire, which opened to the public this month.  The Skywire spans across the site, skimming over the Biomes, for a distance of 740m making it the UK’s longest zipwire.  The next project for JGP at Eden is providing geotechnical advice for the new aerial walkway in the humid tropics biome, which is currently at the design phase.
